Maybe you’re feeling anxious, depressed, or stuck. Or lonely and isolated, even when you’re surrounded by people. Maybe you and your partner keep having the same arguments, or you feel misunderstood and disconnected from each other. Maybe things feel out of control, or life has shifted in ways you didn’t expect. Or maybe you’re navigating between different cultural worlds and feeling like parts of you don’t quite fit anywhere. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
In our work together, we’ll start by building a secure connection where you feel safe enough to share what’s really going on. All of you is welcome here — including the parts that feel like they don’t fit. As someone who has lived between cultural worlds, I know what that’s like. The anxious parts, the angry parts, the depressed or self-critical parts — even the parts you’ve tried to hide — all have a place at the table. There’s strength in how you’ve learned to protect yourself, and we’ll honor that together.
From there, we’ll pay attention to how you relate – to yourself and to the people around you – and explore the patterns that might be keeping you stuck. We’ll work with your whole experience – what you’re thinking, feeling, and noticing in your body. Because healing isn’t just intellectual; it happens when you can be present with what’s inside you.
You’ll have space to speak what has felt unsayable, to bring into the light what’s been hidden. When we can name these things together in a safe place, that’s when things can start to shift – moving from shame to connection, from stuck to flexible and free. Whether you come alone, with your partner, or with family, I’m here to help you find your way back to connection.

What brings Ellen a sense of ease
I find ease in small moments of presence – focusing on each foothold while climbing, breathing in the smell of pine on a hike, baking something sweet from scratch, or lingering over a meal with someone I love. These moments help me slow down and feel connected: to myself, to others, and to the world around me.
